(2015 – 2017)

Ever-changing seascapes hold many contradictions: powerful yet calm, dark yet enlightening, dangerous yet enticing. Geometries of Water is an abstract photography project that explores my connection with the sea. Over a period of two years, I continued to experiment to build a body of work. The abstract nature of the images creates unique forms and portrays my darkest feelings.

The project evolved to include graphic design elements and resulted in a mixed media installation. Each element is unique using unconventional materials, a waterproof book is displayed within a sculpture containing sea water. The sculpture sits on a wooden base which includes prints cut into geometrical shapes.
